Iconic Slate Ltd, trading as Galex, is a specialist importer and distributor of clay roof and cladding tiles, as well as a range of roofing accessories such as ridge tiles and related membranes.
We import our products on an exclusive basis from carefully selected manufacturers where the quality of our product and the professional service are the absolute top priorities; making it easy for us to guarantee quality and a reliable supply to all our clients. The two manufacturers we import from are CS Coelho da Silva SA in Portugal and Ceramica Verea SA in Spain, both producing superb ranges in clay -
We pride ourselves on being able to offer a unique and bespoke service to all our clients. This is partly due to our close working relationship with our suppliers. Therefore, not only are you dealing with Galex here in the UK, but also the manufacturers themselves. This united team has such a wealth of knowledge and experience that it can match any competitor.
In addition to the clay tile ranges from both manufacturers, we also supply a range of complementary accessories such as vapour-permeable membranes and dry ridge kits, including the only dry fixed capped ridge tile system available on the market. The products we supply to our customers are entirely compliant with all applicable certifications.
Our offices and storage depot are based in Nantwich, Cheshire, a few miles from the M6. This location allows us to deliver to any part of the British Isles with ease, maintaining accessible routes to roofing merchants and builders merchants across the UK.
